3. Diglipur Island

How To Reach: Grab a government bus from Port Blair at 4:30 AM in the morning. The bus will take 10 hours to reach Diglipur Island. Another option is to reach here via private bus from Port Blair. The private will take you here in 12 hours.   

You can also take a cab from Port Blair which will take much less time than buses.

4. Red Skin Island

A dream destination to visit in Andaman for many travelers and also one of the most beautiful islands to visit in Andaman & Nicobar. The island is widely popular for its breathtaking beaches, landscape views, crystal clear water, and also for several water sports. Among all the activities, snorkeling is one of the best things to do in Red Skin Island. 

If you are visiting this island with your family, then don’t forget to take the glass bottom boat ride. The boat carries 4 to 5 people and it contains a glass bottom that allows beautiful underwater views. The cost for this is around 1500 INR to 2500 INR.

5. Parrot Island

Also referred to as bird’s paradise and home to thousands of parrots, Parrot Island is one of the must-visit islands in Andaman & Nicobar in the evening. There are plenty of things to do in Parrot Island including bird watching, sightseeing during sunset, boating, and trekking.

The island is covered with mangroves surrounded by salty water. Beware of saltwater crocodiles as they may appear anytime. Near Parrot Island, you can also visit the Jarawa Tribal Reserve where the Jarawa community lives.

How to Reach: Parrot Island is easily accessible from Port Blair and Havelock Island. In case you are coming from Port Blair, then grab a cab or a bus from NH233 to Diglipur. After reaching Diglipur, take a boat and cover the remaining 30 km within 30 minutes.

From Havelock, reach here via ferry to Port Blair and follow the route as mentioned above.
