1. Burj Khalifa

The tallest skyscraper Burj Khalifa in Dubai is the world’s tallest building in the world. During the construction days, it was named Dubai Burj but later it was renamed Burj Khalifa to honor the president of neighboring emirate Sheikh Khalīfah ibn Zāyid Āl Nahyān. The genius designed Burj Khalifa is built for a variety of residential, hospitality, and commercial ventures.

Talking about the huge height of the building it is 2,717 feet (828 meters) tall and has 162 floors in it. The stunning masterpiece was designed by the Chicago-based architectural firm of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.

2. Statue Of Unity

He was known as the Iron Man of India. The 182 meters tall statue stands high in the middle of the Narmada river flanked by the Satpura and the Vindhya mountain ranges in Gujarat.

The statue of Unity depicts Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel’s walking pose. The design was made on the initial designs propped by the acclaimed sculpture Ram Sutar. The statue was made using 135 metric tonnes of iron.

The bronze color on the Statue will turn green in 100 years due to a natural aging process.
The statue can withstand earthquake measure 6.5 on a Richter scale and wind speed around 100km per second.

Four high-speed lifts are fitted in the legs of the statue having the capacity to carry 26 persons each.

3. Laykyun Sekkya

Bodhi Tataung Laykyun Sekkya standing Buddha statue is the second tallest statue in the world and also the second tallest buddha. The statue is located in Monywa, Sagaing, Myanmar (Burma) amid the religious site surrounded by Bodhi trees. The view of the lying Buddha and a standing Buddha is very captivating and soothing.

4. Petronas Twin Tower

Petronas Twin Tower locally known as the Menara Berkembar Petronas is situated in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was designed by an Argentine architect Cesar Pelli,Deejay Cerico, a Filipino-Malaysian engineer; and Dominic Saibo, another Filipino designer. It took seven years to complete the construction of these two giant towers and was finally done in 1998. The six floors of the tower are occupied by the premier shopping center.

5. Flatiron Building

Flatiron Building located in New York at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Broadway is surely one of the most dramatic-looking buildings. The build may not be the tallest or the largest but yet attracts many people due to its style and structure. It was designed by a Chicago architect Daniel Burnham and was built in 1902. It has 22 stories and is 307 feet tall.

Prior to the building being constructed the intersection was known as ‘Flat Iron’.

The building was supposed to be named as Fuller Building after the Founder of Fuller company but the locals insisted on calling it ‘Flatiron Building’ instead.

At the base of the building is the free window-like exhibition named Sprint Flatiron Prow Art space.

6. Nomade Giant Sculpture

The giant sculpture of a man-made from the alphabets was installed at Yorkshire. It was designed and installed by a Spanish artist Jaume Piensa. The sculpture sits in a position where his knee touches his chest and is without discernible feet, face, or features. The artist while talking about the sculpture and design said:

“I always imagined that our skin is permanently tattooed with text – our life, our experiences – tattooed, but with invisible ink. And then suddenly, somebody is able to decipher these tattoos; that person becoming a lover, a friend. That is probably why I work with sculptures like this, this human form composed solely of letters, like cells. It's almost biological.”

7. Palm Jumeirah

Dubai has been the land of many firsts. The architecture in Dubai is stoning and shocking at the same time. Palm Jumeirah is one of the eight wonders of the modern world. Adiyogi is a 112 feet tall steel Shiva statue situated in Coimbatore, India. It is also the 'Largest Bust statue' recorded in the Guinness World Records. It was designed by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, it weighs around 500 tonnes. Adiyogi means the first Yogi which was Shiva And therefore the place was named after him. It was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and Sadhguru. The statue is based on the foothills of the Velliangiri mountains which gives the place a splendid view.
