But besides it, Brahmastra is also facing the terror of the #BoycottBollywood trend. And Mouni’s character is also being compared to Marvel's character ‘Wanda.’ Netizens are calling her Desi Wanda.
In a recent interaction with the media, Mouni Roy opens her views about #BoycottBollywood. Read what she said here.
Recently, in an interview, the media asked Mouni about her views on the #BoycottBrahmastra trend. Then she answered it smartly, she said, "It didn’t bother me but I would wonder why somebody would write such things even without watching the film first.”
“If you watch it and then don’t like it, you can express so. But these are all phantom people, who are hiding behind their screens. They don’t have anything else to do and have a surplus amount of time. So, they waste it doing these things."
She continued "I read those comments but I forgot about them the next moment. They didn’t affect me."
Apart from this, Mouni also showed her reaction to a Nagarjuna’s compliment. She said, “I love Nagarjuna sir. I was so surprised to hear him complimenting me. I was just sitting there listening to everyone and he suddenly said something nice about me and I went, ‘Wow, really?’”.
On Tuesday, TV serial Pavitra Rishta fame Ankita Lokhande praised Mouni Roy for her performance in Brahmastra.
She added an image of the “Junoon” character to her Instagram story and wrote "Dear Mouni watched Brahmastra yesterday and ur performance was fantastic and absolutely up to the mark. U made us proud. Keep it up and keep growing. Lots of love and success to u."
In reply, Mouni wrote, "Thank You so much Ankita, Lots of love back."
