India is filled with superheroes, many of them didn’t get enough acknowledgment for their contribution to the country. One of them is Ajit Doval who is well known as “James Bond of India”.
Ajit Doval is the mastermind behind the defense strategies of India. There is no doubt that India is now stronger and sharper, it is said that it is because of his strategic vision.
On his 77th birthday, let’s look into some of the unknown facts about Ajit Doval.
He is the 5th and current NSA ( National Security Advisor ) to the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, and also a Cabinet Minister. Before NSA he has served as a Director of the Intelligence Bureau in 2004-2005.
Doval is considered one of the best spies in India. He is a simple man with an extraordinary mind.

It is said that Mr. Doval was the mastermind behind the 2016 surgical strike against Pakistan. It was not only his idea but also the plan and strategy that were fully monitored by him.
This real-life event was shown on-screen in the movie “URI - The Surgical Strike”, his character was played by actor Paresh Rawal, directed by Aditya Dhar.

Patriotism is in his veins, it is said that his father had also served as a Major in the Indian Army. Well, there is not much information about his family. He was born in Uttrakhand in 1945.
Doval has worked as an undercover agent for many operations; one of them is a war of 1968 with northeast leader Laldenga of Mizo National Front against India. He threatened MNF and forced them to settle for peace.
He became the first and the youngest, who won the Indian Police Medal. The norm to win this medal is 17 years, Doval won in just 6 years presented by then Prime Minister Indra Gandhi.
After winning Indian Police Medal, Doval won India’s second-highest honor in 1988, Kriti Chakra.
Not only his spying skills but he is very good at mind games. He has brought many troublesome terrorists to the negotiation table. Some of them include hijacking of 1999 IC- 814, Yasin Malik, Shabbir Shah, pro-Pak Syed Ali Shah Geelani
