Aarya Season 2 Review: Sushmita Sen Does A Tremendous Job In Gripping Crime Thriller!

As Aarya season 1 followed the story of Sushmita Sen's character, Aarya, hunting for the killer of her husband, the second season does a commendable job around her struggles dealing with the aftermath of what she did to the Russians previously.

Aarya Season 2 Review

People who have not seen the first season of the series will have no difficulty in understanding the tangled threads of events in season 2. The eight-episode series starts from where it ended in Season 1. After Aarya's husband Tej Sareen, is murdered for stealing drugs worth 300 crores from a mafia Udayveer Shekhawat (Akash Khurana), who belonged to the Russian mafia, all the hell breaks loose. Aarya's father Zorawar Rathod (Jayant Kriplani) and brother Sangram (Ankur Bhatia) are accused of the murder of Tej Sareen. 

Aarya Season 2 Plot

The whole story revolves around how Aarya struggles to raise her three children and avenge her husband, how she balances these two roles. She dodges police investigations and always falls into a sticky web of drug deals, violent threats and double-crosses, which makes the crux of the movie.

Aarya Season 2 Trailer:

Aarya's approach to her turbulent life is so intuitive that it makes the series fun. The first episode, titled 'Mujhse yahan se bhagna hai', reveals his desperation to flee the country due to the dangers he faces. Similarly the titles of the rest of the episodes are 'An Eye for an Eye', 'Ab Hum Go Back', 'Where is Sangram', '300 Crore Consignment', 'I Hate You', 'Phir Se Pange Bahar Nikallo'. ' and 'Get this out of my way'.

There are moments in the series, where Aarya deals with her weaknesses.  Of which episode 6 is quite special, where Aarya, a desperate mother, completely transforms herself and jumps like a ruthless tigress.

Aarya 2 is an Adventure

Sushmita Sen simply shines in the second season of Aarya.  Sushmita has played her part honestly, making Aarya a mindblowing character. Sikandar Kher has played the role of Zorawar Rathod's loyalist and Aarya's well-wisher in a wonderful way.
