Bhopal News: On Thursday, an Indigo staff woman created a stir at Bhopal airport due to a misunderstanding. Someone is talking about “Ballast” and the woman heard wrongly. She understood “Blast.”

Then, she imposed an emergency and activated the tyre killer system instantly, without even any verification.

Bhopal News: Stir At Raja Bhoj Airport

The emergency system of Raja Bhoj Airport was activated suddenly at 9.30 am on Thursday. There was also an announcement of the blast which caused a stir at the airport.

One car collided because of the tyre killer system. The driver is suffering serious head and chest injuries. And this all happened because a woman from Indigo staff heard “Blast” in place of “Ballast.” 

It was a complete failure of management at the airport. Because creating this kind of mess without verifying anything can be a total disaster. 

However, the authority understood all the matter when they listened to the audio tape again. The airport authority warned Indigo Management. And issued a statement terming the whole incident as unfortunate.

What is Ballast?

Ballast is a kind of material, which is used to provide stability to vehicles like ships, aeroplanes, submarines, etc.
