Cuttputlli Movie Review: Cast and Performance

Cuttputlli Movie Review

Director Ranjit tried to give a finish to a story that already did great in the past. Ratsasan earned a rating of 8.3 on IMDb so this remake was a bit challenging.

However, the star cast of the film recreated that suspense, thrill, and seriousness to lift up the story. Cinematography, locations, and impressive acting by the cast of Cuttputlli are giving the same vibes as Ratsasan did.

Though it’s bad to compare as the lead roles were quite good on their own, the movie lacked only in the songs.

But director Ranjit managed to deliver an engaging story smoothly without making it a long boring film with only suspense and no climax.

Akshay Kumar as usual fits perfectly in the cop avatar as Arjan- the aspiring filmmaker. His maturity put more character into his role. On a final note, Akshay did well compared to his recently released movies.

On the other hand, Rakul Preet Singh gave a decent performance even if her role was not broad. She as the ladylove of Arjan looks pretty.

There’s a third character that shined in the movie, it's Sargun Mehta. Her role as SHO Parmar is very bold and more like a no-nonsense cop.

Chandrachur Singh, Hrishitaa Bhatt, and Sujith Shankar were good in their respective roles.
