The Unique Identification Authority of India offers a comprehensive range of services regarding the updating of name, address, and phone. In this guide, we will walk you through how to change the Address on Aadhaar online. Follow the simple step-by-step process and update the Address online.
Step 1: First of all, visit https://uidai.gov.in/
Step 2: Hover over the ‘My Aadhaar’ tab, here you’ll see ‘Update Demographics Data and Check Status’. Click on it
Step 3: You’ll be directed to another site, where you will see the ‘Login’ option
Step 4: Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and fill in the Captcha. Hit ‘Send OTP’ and you will receive a one-time password on your registered mobile number. Enter OTP and click on Login
Step 5: Once you are logged in, hit ‘Update Aadhaar Online’
Step 6: Read the instructions regarding the updation of Address in Aadhaar card and hit ‘Proceed to Update Aadhaar’
Step 7: Select ‘Update Address’ from the Aadhaar data field
Step 8: Submit the request after checking. Now you will be directed to a payment portal. Pay Rs. 50 here
Once the payment is successfully made, you will get URN or update request number. The URN helps you to track the status of updation. You can even take the printout or download the acknowledgment copy.
