India Rewrites History By Winning Medal In Hockey After 41 Years At Tokyo Olympics

Day 14 of Tokyo Olympics, Indian Men's hockey team created history by beating Germany 5-4 to win the bronze medal in an edge-of-the-seat play-off match.

"It's a great feeling, best feeling. We came here for the gold, we won bronze, it is still a great thing. It's a great moment for all hockey fans," says India captain Manpreet Singh. 

This is India's first Olympic medal in hockey since they won the gold medal in the 1980 Olympics in Moscow. It was a thrilling match between the two teams that went right down to the middle.

It has been a remarkable journey for India men's hockey team in Tokyo Olympics.
