Actress Kangana Ranaut, who has been awarded the National Film Award four times, has been honored with the Padma Shri. President Ram Nath Kovind honored the actress with the Padma Shri award. Kangana, who reached Delhi to receive this honor, was wearing a golden beige color silk sari. Her sister Rangoli Chandel was also present with her on this special day.

Expressing her happiness about the award, Kangana had said, “I am happy, and I am honored. I thank my country for this honor and I dedicate it to every woman who dares to dream."

Apart from Kangana Ranaut, Adnan Sami, Ekta Kapoor, Karan Johar and late singer Balasubramaniam have been honored with Padma Shri.

These awards are being given for outstanding work in the year 2020. At the same time, 119 people who have done outstanding work in the year 2021 will be honored with Padma awards on Tuesday. Padma Shri is awarded for distinguished service in any field. This is the fourth highest honor of the country. Kangana has been given this honor for her outstanding performance in the film field.

Recently, Kangana Ranaut was also honored with the National Award. Kangana was given the Best Actress Award for the films 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' and 'Panga'. At the same time, the first look of the film 'Tiku Weds Sheru', which is being produced under the banner of Kangana's other side production house, has come out. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur will be seen in lead roles in the film.
