November 8, Tuesday is the day when the earth, sun, and moon will be aligned. The shadow of the earth, also known as the umbra, will cover the moon completely making it look red.

It would be a rare sight that will begin in the evening at 5:32 pm. The eclipse will last only for 45 minutes and 48 seconds and end at 6:48 pm.

People living in India, Australia, North America, Antarctica, South America, North, and East Europe can watch blood moon.

However, not everyone can enjoy the full view of the blood moon because of timing differences or due to the moon’s location above the horizon.

In India, the lunar eclipse can be seen in the following states and cities:

• Siliguri
• Kolkata
• Guwahati
• New Delhi (only partial)

When is the Next Lunar Eclipse?

As per NASA, this one is going to be the second and last one for 2022. There is no such possibility until March 14, 2025.
