Mumbai Drugs Case: Aryan Khan To Spend Tonight In Jail, Juhi Chawla Signs 1 Lakh Bail Surety

Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, was arrested on October 2 in a drugs case, was granted bail after 3 weeks of the arrest. Bollywood Actress Juhi Chawla has taken her bail with a bond of one lakh rupees and all the rest formalities have been completed by the Lawyers. Actress Juhi Chawla arrived at the NDPS court after the bail order was issued by the High Court, and deposited a bond of Rs 1 lakh. Aryan Khan's lawyer was also with him.

After the completion of these formalities, the process of the release has started. Friday morning, the Bombay High Court presented detailed information about its decision, under which it had allowed Bail's application on Thursday.

Aryan Khan's lawyer on reaching the NDPS court told the judge, 'Sir, I am presenting Juhi Chawla as a surety.' After this Juhi Chawla comes into the witness box. When asked by the judge, she reveals her name as Juhi Chawla Mehta. On this, the judge asks whose bail are you taking, then Juhi Chawla said that I am taking Aryan Khan's bail. On this, Shah Rukh Khan's lawyer said that Juhi Chawla has known Aryan Khan since childhood as both the families have been professionally communicated and related.

The court has ordered Aryan Khan to be granted bail, on the grounds of him not being allowed to leave the country. Also, he will have to appear before the investigating officer of NCB every Friday between 11 am and 2 pm. He cannot leave the country without the permission of the court and for this, he has to inform the investigating officer also.

They will have to submit their passports and are not allowed to comment on the proceedings in the court, elsewhere. Aryan's lawyer Satish Manshinde said that we have got a copy of the High Court order. We are all busy completing the process. It will be our full effort that Aryan Khan is released today itself. But the jail’s deadline has passed 5:30 pm, and thus, Aryan Khan will not be released today. Juhi Chawla commented over being glad that it is all over, for the time being.
