September 23 will be celebrated as cinema day nationwide to celebrate the opening of all cinema houses after the worst phase of a pandemic.
And this is not just good news for theatres operating across the country but also for movie buffs. The Multiplex Associate of India i.e. MAI has decided to celebrate this occasion and they are offering a golden opportunity to the audience too.
A normal movie ticket cost Rs 200-300 depending on when and where you are booking. But on September 23 the price will drop to Rs 75 irrespective of the theatre type.
MAI has made this announcement recently and welcomed all cinema houses to celebrate it on a big scale. However, the date was set to September 16 but later changed to the 23rd.

In the post, MAI also announced the participating screens which are more than 4000 in numbers. It includes PVR, INOX, MIRAJ, MUKTA A2, DELITE, etc.
This is the celebration for all moviegoers said MAI in its press release.
Curious to know? Well in some places, viewers must do advance booking via movie websites like BookMyShow. Others can directly go to the cinema houses within their city and do the on-site booking.
