Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2022: Latest notification has been issued by the Indian Coast Guard regarding the post in various branches. Indian Coast Guard Recruitment Vacancy
The application window is open for the post of Assistant Commandant-Commercial Pilot License (CPL-SSA), General Duty, and Technical (Engineering and Electrical/Electronics). Out of 65 posts, 50 posts are reserved for Assistant Commandant GD/CPL-SSA and the rest 15 are for Technical.
Commercial Pilot License vacancies are for both female and male candidates and the rest is only for male applicants only.
General Duty GD/Pilot/Women SSA/Navigator: The applicant must have a Bachelor Degree with 60% marks in all semesters; Maths, Physics should be taken as a subject up to 10+2 level
Commercial pilot CPL SSA: The applicant must be a 12th pass with physics and mathematics and must have scored 55% marks in all the subjects. Diploma candidates are also eligible who have secured 55% marks in physics and mathematics. A commercial pilot license is a must by the Director General Civil Aviation.
Technical Mechanical: The applicant should hold an Engineering Degree from a recognized University in Mechanical or Naval Architecture or Marine or Automotive or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Aeronautical or Aerospace or design with 60% aggregate marks
Technical Electrical/Electronics: The candidate must hold an Engineering Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation and Control/Telecommunication/Electronics and Communication/Power Engineering/Power Electronics with 60% aggregate marks.
Law Entry: Degree in Law from reputed University
For CPL-SSA vacancy, the candidate must be born between 1 July 1998 and 30 June 2004. For other posts, the birth date should be in between 1 July 1998 and 30 June 2002.
All the candidates excluding candidates belonging to SC/ST category need to pay Rs.250/- The payment can be done via Visa/RuPay/Maestro/Master/Credit/Debit card.
The selection process for Indian Coast Guard officers is based on the all-India merit list. The performance will be assessed in various stages (I-V) and the number of vacancies available. The candidate needs to clear Stage I, II, III, IV, & V.
