After a long wait in Tokyo Olympics, India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra won a gold medal after winning the final round. India won the gold medal on the 16th day of ongoing Olympics.
Earlier today, wrestler Bajrang Punia made the entire nation proud by winning a bronze medal. Neeraj won the gold with a jumbo throw of 87.58 metres. Neeraj scripted history by winning the first gold medal for an Indian in track-and-field events.
