  1. Equality

There is no doubt slowly but steadily change is on the way. Society is accepting women-oriented movies. But still, there are huge number gaps between a male-oriented movie and a female-oriented movie. They don’t get an equal paycheque. According to Forbes, male actors get 5 times of female actresses.

  1. Sensationalism:

Women are shown as sex objects in the film. Not only movies but Bollywood songs also help movies in defaming the image of women. Some of the movies and songs encourage men to mistreat women. And give the message to be okay with getting mistreated. And as a woman all actress can do is a dance with them. Movies like Kabir Singh, songs like Sheela ki jawani, Munni badnam are a shame to society.

  1. Casting Couch:

Many actors and actresses were very vocal about their casting couch incident and how they dealt with it. You will be surprised to know the name From Aayushman Khuranna to Richa Chaddha everyone has faced the Casting couch.

In an interview Aayushman shares, “I have been through that initially. I was a TV anchor, so a casting director directly told me that I would have to do it. So, I told him that if I was not straight, I might have given it a thought, but I can’t do it. So yeah, the casting couch exists, but eventually, it’s your talent or potential as an actor or performer which would last. You don’t need to give in to such stuff.” Not only actresses but the actor has to face this dark side of Bollywood.

  1. Nepotism:

Nepotism is a brutal reality of Bollywood. Many people defended this by saying it’s the public who are accepting star kids. But let me start by telling what is nepotism means, “allowing undeserving again and again”. There is no doubt that stars kids are born with a silver spoon whereas they were launched by a big banner and get the opportunity very easily, which results in a lost opportunity for the deserving.

  1. Psychological issues:

As I said not every glitter is gold, with fame and success you get sad and depressed. This is the truth of Bollywood it only salutes rising stars, and your results come every Saturday. There is a big example who suffered from psychological issues Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, and forget Sushant Singh Rajput, who lost the battle with depression.
