After IPL, Two Players From Indore Get Selected For T20 World Cup

On 17th October, ICC has announced the start of T20 World 2021. All players lists will be finalized by 15th October and there can still be changes. The Indian team for BCCI T20 World Cup has decided its final 15 players. Few players have been selected after their performances in IPL 2021in the Indian team.

After the BCCI IPL 2021, Venkatesh Iyer from Kolkata Night Riders (KKR) and Avesh Khan from Delhi Capitals (DC) have been informed to stay in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for they are going to be the part of T20 World Cup.

Umran Malik from Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) was previously selected to stay in UAE. Impressed by his bowling performance in IPL, he was also selected for the Net Practice.

IPL Performances of Venkatesh Iyer and Avesh Khan

In the ongoing IPL 2021, Avesh khan has come out as the second bowler with the most wickets. This right-hand fast bowler has taken 23 wickets in the tournament so far.

Venkatesh Iyer has gathered a fanbase with his performance in KKR. This left-hand batter has made 265 runs in the IPL 2021 by now and has taken 3 wickets in his name.

Both Avesh Khan and Venkatesh Iyer come from Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
