“Drunk Player Hanged Me From Balcony” Yuzi Chahal Revealed A Bullying Event

Rajasthan Royal star leg spinner Yuzi Chahal shared a frightening incident with bullying during the interview. He revealed that once he was hanged from the 15th-floor balcony by a drunk cricketer. The incident took place after a post-game party in Banglore at the Indian Premier League (IPL), 2013. However, Yuzi refused to reveal the name of the player.

During an interview with Ravichandran Ashwin and Karun Nair, Yuzi Chahal talked about the most terrifying incident of his life. He said that when he got selected as a net player for Mumbai Indians in 2013, he was bullied by a drunk player at night. The player hanged Chahal from the balcony of the 15th floor.

Through this unimaginable incident, Chahal got fainted. While the other players rescued and helped him return to the room. He also said that felt very scared and nearly lost his grip. 

Chahal did not reveal the name of the player, but he said he learned something from that incident. He told that he realised how responsible we need to be when we go anywhere. He also added that “So this was one incident where I felt I made a narrow escape. Had there been slightest of mistakes, I would’ve fallen down”.
