American Tennis star Martina Navratilova known for her rational remarks on the Indian Right-wing Bhartiya Janata Party with the help of her occasional tweets, has this time stirred news again.
On Sunday night, Navratilova tweeted,” And for my next joke…” followed by a surprised emoticon and then a clown one. She attached a news report by HT that said,” Amit Shah said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi isn’t a “Dictator” but is the most democratic leader for the country ever.”
And for my next joke …???????? https://t.co/vR7i5etQcv— Martina Navratilova (@Martina) October 10, 2021
Amit Shah’s comments were a part of the interview of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Sansad last week, due to completing 20 years of public office.
This has caused people on Twitter to pick sides, while many support her, also referring to the time Rihanna got a backlash from the right-wing supporters, on her tweet about farmer’s protest. Some people aren’t in the support of her.
Let’s take a look at the Twitter reactions:
Martina Navratilova has mocked at Modiji, and now IT Cell is confused.

Navratilova has had the twitter motto that says “ It is time to speak now” and she has kept with it without fail. She has incited Indian trolls sharing the crackdown on JNU students article on her Twitter.
She also has made fun of the bond between former United States President Donald Trump and PM Modi.
