ECA International ranks countries according to their daily goods expenses, rental charges, transportation expenses, and the high value of their currency. Hong Kong tops the list of the world's most expensive cities this year. New York and Geneva make second and third place on the list respectively.

World’s most expensive cities in 2022-

1)Hong Kong-

Hong Kong again tops the list of the world's most expensive cities for the world, second year in a row, because of the value of its currency, which is higher than other countries.

The world's most developed city is located in China. Here goods items like milk- 3.03USD, Eggs- 3.6USD, and a one-bedroom apartment cost you around 2231.76 USD, which is highly expensive for a person to live in a foreign country.

2)New York-

The Empire city comes second in the list of the world's most expensive cities, is no surprise for us, because its rental charge itself is highly expensive 4,893$ per month for one bedroom.

 Monthly cost of living in New York is 1,386USD per month without rent.

3)Geneva-

This Peace Capital is third on the list. Surrounded by the beautiful mountain of Switzerland, this European city's cost of living is 1,381.7USD per month without rent,277.8% more expensive than Bangalore.

4)London-

London capital city of England stands on the beauty of the Thames river.

Last year it was fifth in position. Whooping charges of house rent always make it the most expensive city in the world.

Monthly cost of living in London for one person is 1,159USD per month without rent, which is 18.12% less expensive than in New York.

5)Tokyo -

Tokyo has always made a spot in the top 5 world's most expensive cities for the last 11-12 years. This commercial and financial center in Japan is highly expensive to live in, but if you are earning a good amount of money, you'll survive.

6)Tel Aviv-

This Israeli city is placed sixth in the world's most expensive cities.
