The Baijnath temple is devoted to a Lord Shiva temple, the architecture of the temple is crafted and sculptured, on the edge of the Gomti river. There is a mythological belief that Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati were married at the Sangam of Gomti river and Garur Ganga. The locals believe that if you drink the holy water of this temple, it can cure your diseases and illness. You can also feed fish near the temple which is believed a good deed.

This Ashram is well known as the Gandhi Ashram, he also lived here for days and liked the natural beauty that’s the when he named this hill station as a Switzerland of India.
The Ashram also had 24 rooms available in which you can enjoy a pleasant stay. This place is turned into a research center and residential facility.

The best time to visit Kausani is from April and the end of July. And if you want to visit at Kausani snowfall time then the place experiences heavy snowfall from December and January.
