2. Singalilia National Park

The highest setting national park in Darjeeling with a height of 7,000 feet above sea level, Singalilia National Park is an inhabitant to barking dear, red panda, Himalayan black bear, and yellow-throated marten. It is one of the top tourist places to visit in Darjeeling if you want to enjoy the valley view.

4. Rock Garden 

The famous picnic spot and home to natural fall named Chunnu Summer fall, The Rock garden are situated 10 km away from the city of Darjeeling. Apart from its own beauty, the route that leads to the Rock garden itself is a delight to watch. The route toward the Rock garden is surrounded by scenic passes, rocky hills, and lush green forests.

The reason why it is referred to as the rock garden is that the garden was created by cutting rocks. The garden is multi-level having a terrace surrounded by Chunnu summer falls.

5. Batasia Loop

While crossing through the toy train of Darjeeling, you will come across the Batasia loop which is situated around 5 km away from Darjeeling. To enjoy the beautiful views, first, grab a toy train from Ghoom that passes via a tunnel and stop here for a few minutes. It is best advised to take a walk and witness the immense beauty of the flower garden and explore the hidden pathways. 

Also regarded as an engineering marvel, the loop was initially created in 1919 by the British in order to allow the train easily pass the slop track even without letting the passenger realize it. Don’t forget to visit the Eco garden if you want to learn more about organic farming.
