One day after Bharti Airtel announced its tariff hike for prepaid customers, Vodafone also declared its tariff hikes for the same. The new tariff plans will come into play from 25th November 2021. Vodafone said the tariff hike helps them improve ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) and addresses financial stress faced by the telecom industry.
Vodafone, which is also known as Vi offers cheaper prepaid plans compared to Airtel’s new plans. For instance, the Rs.79 plan will cost only Rs. 99 with 200MB data, limited STD, and local calls facility for 28 days. On the other hand, its highest recharge plan costs Rs. 2399 will now be available for Rs. 2899 as per prepaid offers.
