Just a few days ago a man was killed allegedly at Singhu border, Delhi, where the farmers protest against the three agriculture Bills passed by the Modi government in September 2020, is taking place. A Nihang Sikh has been recently arrested on account of allegedly assaulting a poultry farm worker and as a result, fracturing his leg at the Singhu border, Sonipat, Haryana.
The victim has been identified as Manoj Paswan. He was allegedly beaten because he refused a free chicken to the Nihang Sikh (Naveen Kumar), said Haryana Police on Friday.
"Identified as Naveen Kumar, the accused has been arrested and we have registered an FIR after receiving the complaint," police said.
The incident took place on Thursday. The poultry farm worker was passing through the farmers' protest site. The accused stopped Paswan forcefully and demanded chicken for free. After Paswan denied, Kumar proceeded to assault and break the latter's legs.

The incident is reported days after a mutilated labourer’s body identified as Lakhbir Singh was found in Singhu on October 15. A group of Nihangs had claimed responsibility for the killing in a video. This took place because allegedly the labour, who was a part of the protest touched the holy Sikh Book being from the Lower caste.
What The Nihang Sikh Replied:
M????NSTERS! #Nihang #Sikhs lynched a "lower caste" man for "touching" their Holy book. The deceased was part of the #FarmersProtest where #SikhCommunity along with others were staging protest in northern India.— Tony Sahajlain ???? (@TonySahajlain) October 16, 2021
