In December, the entire country will have a holiday on December 25th on the occasion of the Christmas Celebration. All the holidays will be applicable to particular states simultaneously.
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has posted the list of Bank Holidays in December 2021 for the last month of the year on their website. According to the list, banks will remain closed for a total of 12 days in the month of December 2021.
Out of a total of 12 holidays, there are 4 holiday Sundays. There is a holiday in almost all the banks of the country on the festival of Christmas, on December 25th. Let us tell you that not all banks will remain closed for all the 12 days of Holidays in December 2021. According to the RBI guidelines, banks will be closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.

3rd December: Banks will remain closed due to Fest of St. Francis Xavier in Panaji.
5th December: Sunday will be a weekly holiday
11th December: Banks will remain closed on the second Saturday of the month.
12th December: There will be no work in banks on the weekly holiday of Sunday.
18th December: Banks in Shillong will remain closed on the death anniversary of Yu So So Tham.
19th December: the banks will be closed on the weekly holiday.
24th December: Banks will be closed in Aizawl on the occasion of Christmas Eve.
25th December: Banks will remain closed except in Bengaluru and Bhubaneswar, on Christmas.
26th December: Sunday is a weekly holiday
27th December: Banks will be closed in Aizawl due to ongoing Christmas celebrations.
30th December: Banks in Shillong on Yu Qiang Nongbah will remain closed.
31st December: There will be no work in the bank in Aizawl on New Year's Evening.
