IND vs NZ Test: Ajaz Patel Bags Perfect 10, Becomes 3rd Bowler To Have Achieved This

Every bowler dreams of cleaning up 10 wickets but in 2438 Test matches so far, only two cricketers have done this before the Mumbai Test against New Zealand. But Kiwi spinner, Ajaz Patel took up a ‘Perfect 10’ against India on Day 2 of the 2nd Test at the Wankhede Stadium and created history. He has become the third player besides Jim Laker and Anil Kumble to achieve that title.

Ajaz Patel had a dream return to Mumbai as he embedded his name in the record books on Saturday. Patel picked up all 10 wickets in India’s first innings to help the Kiwis bowl out the Indian Team for 325 in their first innings. The left-arm spinner’s figures are the best by a New Zealand bowler, while he became the third to take ten wickets in an innings after Jim Laker and Indian bowling legend Anil Kumble.
