On the 8th of December 2021, India lost its first CDS General, Bipin Rawat in an unexpected crash of IAF Chopper Mi-17V5 in Tamil Nadu. The news of Gen Bipin Rawat's death along with 11 others became a great shock to the nation. Honorable PM Narendra Modi expressed his warm condolence to all those who lost their precious lives in a sudden crash.

The whole nation mourns and pours condolence to General Bipin Rawat and 11 others. Not only this, but Pakistan's top military brass also expressed sympathy over the heartbreaking ‘tragic death’ of General and others.

In a short statement, Pakistan Army spokesman Twitted, ‘General Nadeem Raza, CJCSC & General Qamar Javed Bajwa, COAS express condolences on tragic death of #BipinRawat #CDS General, his wife and others who lost lives in helicopter crash’.

Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affair said. ‘it was deeply shocked to learn the sad demise of General Rawat and his wife at a tragic helicopter crash.’

US embassy said, ‘Our thoughts are with the Indian people and the Indian military, and we pray for Group Captain Varun Singh’s full recovery.’

The helicopter that carried Gen Rawat and 13 others crashed apparently due to foggy conditions, however, one person survived. Currently, he is being treated at the hospital.
