Who Was Madhulika Rawat, Wife Of CDS Bipin Rawat, Killed In IAF Chopper Crash?

Bipin Rawat Helicopter Crash: The tragic event that took place on the last day becomes a great pain for the entire nation. Bipin Rawat, Chief of Defence Staff, along with 11 others lost their lives in a military chopper crash near Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Bipin Rawat’s wife, Madhulika Rawat also passed away in this incident.  As soon as the incident came into the limelight, her brother, Yashvardhan Singh flew to Delhi from Bhopal.

Who was Madhulika Rawat?

Madhulika Rawat, sometimes known as Madhulika Raje Singh was the daughter of Late Kunwar Mrigender Singh ji, MLA of Indian National Congress who served between 1967 and 1972. She was from one of the royal families in Shahdol district, MP.

She was not only an Indian social worker but also the president of the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA). She used to work for the welfare of the wives, children, and army personnel dependents. She was also involved in NGOs and other welfare associations like Veer Naris that help widows of military workers, cancer patients, and differently-abled children.

Personal Life

Madhulika Rawat was the descendant of a princely family who got educated from Scindia Kanya Vidhyalaya, Gwalior. She graduated in psychology from Delhi University.

In 1985, she got married to Bipin Rawat and they became parent of two daughters, Kritika Rawat and Tarini Rawat.
