What is Florona Disease? Its symptoms, precautions and preventions

Amid fears that Omicron would take over which is the Delta alternative to COVID-19. Israel, on December 31, 2021, announced the first case of Florona's disease, which is a double infection of COVID-19 and the flu. COVID-19 and influenza are both different respiratory infections and have similar symptoms.

The disease was first identified in a woman who gave birth this week in Israel and was not vaccinated against COVID-19, according to media reports.

What is Florona?

Florona is a combination of the flu and Coronavirus as well as the double infection of COVID-19. It is not a newly acquired disease and is caused by a variety of viruses. There is some difference in determining who is most at risk of serious illness, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

Is it another type of COVID-19?

No, Florona is not another version or version of the COVID-19 novel. When the flu virus and Coronavirus are present in the body at the same time, it is considered Florona infection.

What are the possible symptoms of Florida?

How can we treat this disease?

According to the Moneycontrol report, treatment options used by COVID-19 in medical facilities include oxygen, corticosteroids, and IL6 receptor blockers in critically ill patients.

Treatment of people with severe respiratory disease includes improved respiratory support such as the use of ventilators. Several other therapies for COVID-19 are currently under investigation.

Should we worry about a new disease?

We all know that COVID-19 has a long-term negative effect on our bodies, and if our bodies catch the coronavirus and the flu at the same time, it can be very difficult for our bodies to fight off both viruses.
