Forbes disclosed the list of world’s top 10 highest paid athletes of 2021. Their earnings are derived from their endorsements, salaries, bonuses and prize money in the several past 12 months. Though the pandemic had created chaos in the world economy and in sports too.

Still there many modifications as Covid -19 reduced prize money and playing time across sports with many events being cancelled. But it didn’t affect severely on the incomes of top 10 athletes, as endorsements and business transactions were there to support their revenues. In fact they have taken home gross earnings of US$1.05 billion over the last year, which is 28% more than 2020’s top earners.
